Call the White House: Stop Line 3

Call the White House today and tell President Biden to Stop the Line 3 Pipeline!

Completing the Line 3 pipeline is another step toward climate catastrophe. The pipeline would bring nearly a million barrels of dirty tar sands oil per day from Alberta, Canada to Superior, Wisconsin straight through the heartland of Minnesota.

Enbridge, a Canadian pipeline company, is to blame. They're also responsible for the largest land-based oil spill in US history.

Line 3 would violate Indigenous treaty rights. If the project is completed, it will run through the Anishinaabe treaty land and the Mississippi Headwaters – putting indigenous lands, untouched wetlands, Lake Superior and the entire Great Lakes watershed, and the Mississippi River at extreme risk.

Further, the tar sands are a dying and obsolete industry, and more fossil fuel expansion will lead to climate catastrophe. It doesn’t make economic or ecological sense to complete the Line 3 project, and it must be stopped now.

An Indigenous-led movement has been fighting the Line 3 pipeline for years. It's time for President Biden to take action.
